Nothing Phone (1) Lite could be the same smartphone without the lights

Nothing may be ready yet with his next smartphone. The London-based company may continue to keep things transparent and make a few changes for a “Lite” version of the Nothing Phone (1).

According to an report (opens in new tab) by The Mobile Indian, the company is preparing to launch another version of the Nothing Phone (1). This time, the smartphone can come in at a lower price than the previous model. Referred to as the “Lite” version of the Nothing Phone (1), the next model could exclude the Glyph interface and be priced below Rs 30,000 in India. The smartphone continues to be equipped with the transparent panel on the back. It is unclear at this point whether the designs on the back will remain the same or not.

In addition, the Nothing Phone (1) Lite also removes support for wireless and reverse wireless charging. The report does state that the smartphone will have the same chipset. Though it won’t be a surprise if the chipset is replaced by a more affordable one like the Snapdragon 695. The company worked closely with Qualcomm to create a custom Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset that supports wireless charging.
